Abril Seville: What the Luis Montoto Club Is Like and Its Age Rules

Abril is a club at Calle Luis Montoto 118, in the Nervión area of Seville, Spain, open Thursday to Sunday with electronic music, house, reggaeton and pop. Most nights are 18+, some big parties are 21+, and now and then it holds an afternoon party for teenagers, so the age always depends on the event.

Why we always say 'Discoteca Abril'

In Seville, 'Abril' is also the month of the April Fair, so searches get mixed up: this post is about the club, not the Feria. The club is at Luis Montoto 118, inside the Meliá Los Lebreros hotel according to a local listings site, in Nervión. Its opening year is not clear: one directory says it opened in March 2021, while a 2019 guide already talked about an Abril club in Seville opened years earlier, so we leave the date out. What is clear is that in 2026 it's one of the clubs with the most active agenda in the city.

Thursday to Sunday: what each night is like

Its Instagram bio says 'open Thursday to Sunday', and the agenda for late October 2026 shows the pattern: 'Mamoneo' on Thursday, the university night, from midnight to 06:00; Friday from midnight to 06:45; Saturday from midnight to 05:45; and 'La Misa' on Sunday from 23:00 to 05:00. The music is electronic, house, reggaeton and pop. Abril is also the weekend home of the Erasmus parties run by Seville's ESN student sections: in October 2026 they announced Fridays and Saturdays at Abril, so on those nights you'll hear as much English and Italian as Spanish.

Age: 18, 21 and the afternoon parties for teenagers

This is the question people ask most about Abril, and the answer is 'it depends on the party'. The general rule is 18+. Some big nights go higher: the Halloween party on Saturday 31 October 2026 was 21+. And sometimes there's an afternoon party for 14 to 17-year-olds, like the one on Saturday 24 October 2026 from 18:00 to 22:30, which sold out. That format exists because Andalusian rules (Decree 155/2018) allow venues for young people aged 14 to 17, closing by midnight, and serving alcohol to minors is a serious offence under regional law. In short: check the age on each event before you go, and bring ID.

Dress code and what a night costs

Directories list the dress code as 'smart', and the Halloween events asked people to come 'dressed up'. Prices in October 2026 start at around €10, with free guest lists on some nights. As a reference, the university Halloween night on Thursday 29 October gave 200 free entries before 01:00, which ran out, and then €10 with a drink; the Saturday 31 party started at €12 with a drink and went up to €15, €20 and €25 as tickets sold.
