A club with a band on stage
Sala Newman is at Avenida de Finlandia 1 and its Instagram bio describes it in one line: a nightclub with live music that also hosts events. The format is easy to follow. On Fridays and Saturdays, at 23:30, a cover band takes the stage and plays pop and rock hits from the 80s to the 2000s, the kind of songs everyone knows the words to. When the band finishes, the DJ takes over. A directory sums up its music as classic hits, pachanga and commercial for an adult crowd, and that's the point: it's a place for people who want to dance to what they grew up with rather than to the latest reggaeton. In September 2026 the club also brought back its "Superjueves", a Thursday night with drinks at €6. It's the kind of spot that suits groups of friends, couples and people in their thirties and forties.

Sala Newman opened its concert season on the weekend of 25 and 26 September 2026 with Lady Pink and Petazetas, both bands playing 80s to 2000s pop. Since then the pattern has held: Antoñita Porfapop on Friday 2 October and Proyecto Vinilo on Saturday 3 October; Tercera Planta, with Spanish pop and rock versions, on Saturday 10 October; and Fraggle Pop on Friday 16 October and La Panda Canalla on Saturday 17 October. All of them were announced for 23:30 and with free entry. The club also screened a Spain World Cup match with a DJ in June 2026. Groups, Christmas parties and getting there
Groups are a big part of Sala Newman's business. For Christmas 2026 it offers a party for groups of friends and companies held entirely in the venue: catering first, then a concert and a DJ, all included for €39 per person, with limited places. It's designed so the whole night happens in one place without moving around. Regular nights don't have published table prices.
