How to Get to Groucho

Groucho is at C. Federico Sánchez Bedoya 20 (41001), in the old town. You can walk there from the centre.

Dress Code & Entry Requirements

Its October 2026 listings ask for smart clothes ("arreglado"). Thursdays are 18+, but the Friday listing for 23 October 2026 was 25+. Bring ID.

Nineteen seasons in the old town

Groucho is a long-running name in Seville's nightlife: in 2026 it opened its nineteenth season, which it brands "Temporada XIX", on 25 September. It sits at Calle Federico Sánchez Bedoya 20, in the old town, and its motto is "Good drinks, better people". The top hat logo nods to Groucho Marx, and so do the jokes in its posts. A directory describes the music as Spanish pop, commercial and Spanish hits from the 80s and 90s, and its own posts mix that with reggaeton and songs everyone sings. It's at its busiest around the big dates: in 2026 it posted through Semana Santa and the April Fair. It's a place where you go to sing as much as to dance, with a crowd that ranges from students on Thursdays to people in their late twenties and thirties at weekends.

Thursdays for students, weekends for everyone else

Thursday is Groucho's student night. In October 2026 it was branded "La Casita de Groucho universitario", ran from 23:30 to 06:00 and was 18+, with a Halloween edition for halls of residence on Thursday 29 October. Fridays and Saturdays run from 23:00 to 07:00. On Fridays there is often a live band before the DJ: Meraki on 23 October and Mano D'Santo Band on 30 October 2026. Saturday 24 October had DJ Rauw Camero, and Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October. The Friday listing for 23 October was 25+, so check the age for the specific night before you go. Line-ups and ages change week to week: ask us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what's on the date you have in mind.

Tickets, prices and how to get there

Groucho sells tickets in batches through its own account on a ticketing platform, with access by QR code. For Thursday 22 October 2026 the first 100 tickets cost €10 with an open bar from 23:30 to 01:30 and sold out fast; the next batch was €12 and the last one €15, both with the same open bar. That means arriving early is part of the deal on Thursdays. We don't sell Groucho's tickets through a shop of our own: message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are and we'll tell you what's left or how to book a table for a group. To get there, walk: Federico Sánchez Bedoya is a few minutes on foot from the Cathedral. The listings ask for smart clothes, so dress up a little. Prices are orientative and come from listings checked in October 2026.
