Erasmus in Seville: Student Nights, Clubs and When the Parties Are

Erasmus nights in Seville, Spain run from Thursday to Sunday: in late October 2026 that meant Thursday at Uthopia and at a city-centre bar with a 100% Erasmus night, Friday at Antique Theatro and Discoteca Abril, Saturday at Abril and Uthopia, and a Sunday afternoon party by the river. Local students add the university Thursday at Abril, OCCO and the Nervión clubs.

Nights move during the year, so take the table below as a snapshot of the week of 19 to 25 October 2026, built from what the clubs and student groups announced. We will update it when the second semester starts in January.

Erasmus nights in Seville, night by night

Thursday: the big student night

Thursday is when Seville's students go out, local and international alike. Uthopia, in the old Córdoba station in Plaza de Armas, runs its Uniparty that night from midnight, and an Erasmus party also lands there on Thursdays. Since 1 October a bar in the centre hosts a night billed as 100% Erasmus, with a different theme each week. Meanwhile Discoteca Abril, OCCO, Groucho and the clubs around the Viapol building in Nervión all do university Thursdays, mostly with Spanish students.

Friday and Saturday: Abril, Antique and Uthopia

Discoteca Abril, on Calle Luis Montoto in Nervión, is the regular Erasmus spot on Fridays and Saturdays. Antique Theatro on Isla de la Cartuja, the club in the former Expo 92 Olympic pavilion, hosted an Erasmus opening night on Friday 23 October, and on Saturdays the Erasmus crowd fills Uthopia's three floors. If you are new in town, these are the surest bets for meeting other exchange students.

Sunday afternoon and summer by the river

On Sundays the Erasmus plan is an afternoon party at Maquiavelo, a restaurant-terrace on Muelle de las Delicias by the Puente de los Remedios. In spring and summer the whole circuit moves to the Delicias terraces: in 2026 Iguana Terraza hosted Erasmus parties from 21 May to 25 June, Alfonso by Casino a White Party on 9 June, and Terraza Bilindo the first Erasmus party of the semester on 28 August. Bilindo has closed for the season, Iguana now runs Sunday DJ sessions, and Alfonso opens on Fridays and Saturdays from 20:00.

When the semesters start and end

At the University of Seville (US), the first semester runs from 7 September to 18 December 2026, exams are from 8 to 25 January 2027 and the second semester starts on 26 January and ends on 24 May 2027. Incoming Erasmus students for the second semester enrol from 3 November to 18 December 2026. There are no classes over Christmas (19 December to 6 January), Holy Week (21 to 28 March 2027) and the April Fair week (12 to 18 April 2027). Pablo de Olavide (UPO) started on 14 September 2026, holds first-semester exams from 1 to 12 February 2027 and starts its second semester in late January.

Student associations: ESN Sevilla and ESN UPO

ESN Sevilla, the Erasmus Student Network section at the University of Seville, has been around since 1992 and says it helps more than 2,000 exchange students a year. It runs Welcome Month in September, the Buddy programme, the ESNcard and trips, and has offices at the Centro Internacional (Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00) and the CEYE faculty (Monday to Friday, 18:00 to 20:30). ESN UPO does the same at Pablo de Olavide, with a Welcome Month that started in late August 2026, trips around Andalusia and guides to the Feria and Holy Week.

Prices and age

Student nights are cheap: in October 2026 Vizzio was from €2 on Wednesdays, and the university Halloween at Abril and OCCO on Thursday 29 October costs €10 with a drink. Uthopia, OCCO and Abril start at €10 on regular nights and Antique at €12. Almost every club is 18+, so carry ID; some nights are 21+, like Abril's Halloween Saturday, and Alfonso by Casino is 21+.
