How a night out works

The night starts late. English-language travel guides agree that clubs are quiet before 02:00 and busiest between about 02:30 and 04:00, and the clubs' own listings back that up: most open their doors at midnight, Antique Theatro runs from 00:00 to 07:00 at weekends and Discoteca Abril from 00:00 to 06:45 on Fridays. Before that, people drink in bars in the Alameda, the old town or by the river. Many clubs have cheaper tickets or free guest lists before a set time, so arriving early can pay off even if the dance floor is still half empty.

Where to go

There is no single party street. The Alameda de Hércules has the bars, the live music and the LGBTQ+ clubs; Plaza de Armas and the old town have Uthopia, Lobby and KOKO; Nervión has the student clubs; Isla de la Cartuja has Antique Theatro; and the Delicias riverside has the terraces. Our area guide goes through each one.

Flamenco after dark

If you want flamenco without a sit-down show, La Piconera on Calle Julio César bills itself as the most flamenco nights in Seville, with rumba and flamenco from Thursday to Sunday and afternoon sessions at weekends. Pandora runs La Flamenca TV nights of flamenco-pop and urban hits, and the Pura Vida rooftop has been holding an acoustic flamenco series since September 2026.

Terraces by the river

Seville's open-air terraces are a summer thing: in 2026 they opened between mid and late May and closed between late September and mid-October. In winter, Alfonso by Casino on Paseo de las Delicias keeps going on Fridays and Saturdays from 20:00 with live music and DJs (21+), and riverside bars like Muelle New York, Terraza Chile and Iguana open all year.

Students and Erasmus

With two public universities, the University of Seville and Pablo de Olavide, Thursday is a big night: Discoteca Abril, OCCO, Uthopia, Groucho and the clubs around the Viapol building all have university nights. Erasmus students have their own nights at Uthopia, Antique Theatro and Abril.

What it costs

In October 2026 the cheapest tickets we found were €2 on Wednesdays at Vizzio, €10 at Uthopia, OCCO and Discoteca Abril, and €12 at Antique Theatro; special nights cost more (Antique's Halloween is €25 with a drink). Lobby Club is free until it fills up, at the door's discretion. Tables are priced per night and only on request.

Getting home

Metro Line 1 runs until 02:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a holiday (23:00 the rest of the week). TUSSAM's night buses, lines A1 to A8, all leave from Prado de San Sebastián: from 00:00 to 05:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a holiday, every 35 to 40 minutes depending on the line, and at 00:00, 01:00 and 02:00 the other nights.
