A club inside a palace house
Monasterio's Instagram bio introduces it as an 'eighteenth-century palace house in the very heart of Seville', and that is the main reason people choose it: it isn't a warehouse or a shopping-centre club but an old house on Calle Amor de Dios, in the Alameda de Hércules area. Its website talks about 'La Sala', the main room, and a VIP area meant for celebrations and private events, with premium bottles and personal service. In other words, a smaller, more grown-up night than the student clubs of Nervión.

Over 18, but better over 20
This is what sets Monasterio apart. Its website says that under-18s are not admitted and that 'being over 20 is recommended'. It isn't a hard rule, but it tells you what crowd the club is aiming for: people in their twenties and older rather than first-year students. Bring your ID anyway. Andalusian law only bans under-16s from clubs and lets each venue set its own higher limit, which is exactly what Monasterio does with its 18+ policy and its over-20 recommendation.
Nights, music and dress code
The club opens Thursday to Sunday, according to its Instagram, and Google lists an opening time of 23:59. Closing depends on the night, within the Andalusian limit: 06:00 on weeknights and 07:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a holiday. Monasterio's website talks about 'good music' but doesn't name a style, and it doesn't publish a dress code either. Given the setting and the crowd, dress smart: a shirt or a smart top, long trousers or a dress, and no sportswear. If you want to know what's on that weekend, ask us.
Prices, tables and getting there
Monasterio sells tickets through its own platform and doesn't publish prices on its website; Google listings give a range of €10 to €20, so treat it as a guide. For birthdays or groups, the VIP area is the option, and we can book it for you. The club is in the old town: if you're driving, its own website points to the 24-hour car park at Plaza del Duque. Coming back, TUSSAM's night buses leave from Prado de San Sebastián, every 35 to 40 minutes until 05:00 on Friday and Saturday nights.
