Where things stand on 21 October 2026

On 13 October 2026 Rosso said goodbye on Instagram with a “see you next summer” (“Nos vemos el próximo verano”) after what it called a “simply spectacular” season, and its website ran a round-up of the summer in the same tone. There is no reopening date for 2027. For reference only, in 2026 it opened on Friday 22 May. The party does not stop on the site, though: Antique Theatro, the indoor club in the same building, started its 2026-27 season on 16 October and opens Thursday to Sunday.

What Rosso is and where it is

Rosso sits at Calle Matemáticos Rey Pastor y Castro s/n, in the old Olympic Pavilion on Isla de la Cartuja (41092), right next to the Isla Mágica theme park. Its website calls it “el templo del verano en Sevilla”, the summer temple, and sells it as a dance floor under the night sky with the tagline “music, dance, show”. It is the summer face of Antique: same address, and table bookings go to the same Antique Theatro email. In practice that means the crowd that goes to Antique in winter moves outdoors to Rosso when the heat arrives.

The 2026 season: what changed

Rosso opened on Friday 22 May 2026 after a refit. According to Diario de Sevilla it came back with new lighting, a 15-metre moving screen and the DJ booth moved into the VIP area, and the opening night was free until 1:30am. From then on it opened every night: its Instagram bio read “Abiertos de lunes a domingo” (open Monday to Sunday), and the press said the same. One detail to check next year: one version of the footer on its website says Tuesday to Sunday instead.

On age, Rosso is blunt: according to Diario de Sevilla, “entry to minors is completely forbidden”, so bring ID even if you look older. During the season its bio also said there were tickets on the door every day, and there are VIP tables for groups. We have no 2026 price published by the venue that we can quote, so we will not give you a figure: ask us when the season starts and we will tell you what the night costs.

Rosso and Antique Theatro: how they differ

They share an address and a team, but they are two different nights. Antique Theatro is the indoor club: more than 2,500 m² built on the foundations of the old Expo 92 pavilion, open Thursday to Sunday from October, 18+, with electronic, reggaeton, pop and house. Rosso is the outdoor version for the summer, open every night, with urban, electronic and commercial music. The simple rule: in winter the Cartuja night is Antique; from late May, it is Rosso.

Getting there and getting back

Rosso is on Isla de la Cartuja, next to Isla Mágica, across the river from the old town. Plan the way back before you go: Metro line 1 runs its last trains at 2am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before public holidays (11pm on other nights), and the TUSSAM night buses, lines A1 to A8, all leave from Prado de San Sebastián, from midnight to 5am on those same nights. With a 6am close, most people end up taking a taxi. The map is on the venue page.

What to expect when it comes back

Seville's summer terraces open within a few days of each other. In 2026 LĂbano opened on 14 and 15 May, Alfonso by Casino on 15 May, and Rosso, Terraza Bilindo and La Casa del Estanque all on 22 May. That is not a date for 2027, just a pattern: when Rosso announces its return, it will be on its Instagram first. If you want to know the moment it happens, or you are already planning a birthday or a group night for next summer, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is on.
