Fun Club Seville: the Alameda Concert Hall That Has Been a Club Since 1987
· Updated:
Fun Club is a concert hall and club in Seville, Spain at Alameda de Hércules 61, open since 1987. Most nights start with a gig (tickets from about €5 to €20 in October 2026) and then turn into a club with DJs and sing-along songs; on club nights the ticket is sold only at the door.

Fun Club calls itself 'the cradle of legendary bands since 1987', and Time Out already listed it in 2019 as a reference of Seville's eighties and nineties scene. The sala keeps that pride: in September 2026 it posted 'these walls have seen everything', and it paid tribute to Diego, a DJ who spent more than twenty years in its booth. That continuity is part of the appeal. People who came as students now come back with their friends, and new bands still want to play here.

How a night works: gig first, club after
The schedule has two parts. Concerts usually start between 20:00 and 21:30 and finish around 23:30. In October 2026 the line-up mixed tribute bands (Linkin Park, The Doors and Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana) with Spanish indie and pop acts such as Merino, Gonzalo Alhambra or Las Tristes, with tickets from €5.12 to €20. When the gig ends, or on nights with no gig, Fun Club switches to 'clubbing' mode. Its September 2026 posts list DJs by night, for example Milana and L-Nita on Thursday and Owen on Friday.
What music to expect
On club nights the sala puts it this way: 'music at full volume, choruses shouted out loud and nights that go off-script'. Expect pop-rock, Spanish indie and the classic songs everyone knows, rather than techno or reggaeton. It's a place to dance in a group and sing, with the feel of a rock venue rather than a polished nightclub.
Tickets: online for gigs, at the door for the club
This is the practical detail that catches people out. Concert tickets are sold online on each event page. Club nights are different: Fun Club says tickets 'are not sold online and are only available at the box office'. So for a club night you just turn up. The sala doesn't publish an age limit; in Andalusia clubs can't admit under-16s and each venue can set 18, so bring your ID.
Getting there
Fun Club is at the north end of the Alameda de Hércules, about 900 metres from the historic centre according to the sala. Bus lines 02, 06, 13, 27, C3, C4, C5, A2 and A7 stop nearby, and the A lines are night buses. The rest of the Alameda, including the Alameda 47 rooftop, is a short walk away.
Who goes, and what's coming up
Fun Club's crowd changes with the night. Tribute nights fill with people who grew up with those bands, indie gigs bring a younger crowd, and the club nights mix both, so it's one of those places where people of very different ages end up singing the same chorus. There are no VIP tables or bottle service and prices are low compared with a nightclub; dress is whatever you'd wear to a gig. In November 2026 the agenda continued with IX Jam & Marmalade on the 5th (€3), La Juan Roman on the 6th, BLISS on the 7th, Milongas Extremas on the 12th and Flores Carlota on the 13th.
