Dress Code for Clubs in Seville: What to Wear, Venue by Venue
· Updated:
Most clubs in Seville, Spain expect a smart look and turn away sportswear, but only a handful write their rules down: Lobby Club has a full dress code, OCCO bans 'inappropriate clothing', and the big clubs such as Antique Theatro, Uthopia, Abril and Vizzio are listed as 'elegant'. Terraces are more relaxed: Alfonso by Casino says 'casual'. Below is what each venue publishes, checked on 21 October 2026, so you're not guessing at the door.

Lobby Club: the only full written code
Lobby Club, on Calle Reyes Católicos, is the club that explains its dress code in detail, on a page of its own. It calls the style casual chic and asks for a polished, contemporary look with some personality: shirts, blouses, tops, trousers or dresses, with shoes that go with the outfit. Trainers are allowed if they're designer or a sophisticated urban style. What it doesn't let in: sportswear, tracksuits, technical sports shirts, flip-flops, beach sandals and shoes that are too sporty. The page also reminds you that the door team can refuse entry to anyone who doesn't meet the code, or whose behaviour could bother other guests.

OCCO and the big clubs: smart, no sportswear
OCCO, the club on Avenida de Montes Sierra with room for more than 2,000 people, says on its website that entry is for over-18s only and that 'inappropriate clothing' is not allowed, without listing what that means; a nightlife directory describes its code as smart casual with no sportswear. For Antique Theatro in the Isla de la Cartuja, Uthopia at Plaza de Armas, Abril on Luis Montoto and Vizzio on Calle Pirotecnia, the only written rule we found is the same directory's label: 'elegant'. Their own ticket pages add something on special nights: for Halloween 2026, both Antique's 'TORTURA' party and Abril's two Halloween nights asked guests to come 'arreglado', dressed up.

Some clubs simply don't publish anything. KOKO's website, Uthopia's website and Monasterio's website have no dress code; Monasterio only sets an age rule, 18+ with 20+ recommended. In practice the safe choice for all of them is the same as for Lobby: no sportswear, and shoes that don't look like gym shoes.
Terraces: more relaxed
Terraces are where you can dress down a little. Alfonso by Casino, on the Paseo de las Delicias and open on Fridays and Saturdays in its winter season, lists its code as 'casual' and its age as 21+. The summer terraces, such as Rosso by Antique, LÃbano or Bilindo, don't publish a dress code, and in October 2026 they were closed until next summer anyway. Our terraces guide has what's still open this autumn.

Age and ID
The dress code is only half of what gets checked at the door. Under Andalusia's Decree 155/2018, nobody under 16 can enter a club, and each venue can raise that to 18, which is what almost all of Seville's clubs do. Some nights go higher: Abril's Halloween night on 31 October 2026 was 21+, Alfonso is 21+, and Antique recommended 23+ for its Halloween party. Carry your ID or passport. Our age guide has the full rule and the age each club sets.
Minimum age for clubs in SevilleIn a group or booking a table
If you're coming as a group, for a hen or stag night for instance, ask before you plan matching outfits: the club's rule still applies to everyone. Booking a table doesn't change the dress code. Tell us the club and the night on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what they're asking for.

Is there a dress code in Seville clubs?
Generally yes, a smart one, but few clubs publish it. Lobby Club has a written code (polished look, no sportswear), OCCO bans 'inappropriate clothing', and a directory lists Antique, Uthopia, Abril and Vizzio as 'elegant'.
Can I wear trainers?
It depends on the club. Lobby accepts designer or sophisticated urban trainers but not overly sporty shoes, and OCCO is listed as smart casual without sportswear. If in doubt, go for clean, non-sporty shoes.
What gets refused at the door?
The clearest list is Lobby's: sportswear, tracksuits, technical shirts, flip-flops, beach sandals and very sporty shoes. Its door team can also refuse entry for behaviour.
Do the terraces have a dress code?
Alfonso by Casino lists 'casual' on its ticket page. The summer terraces don't publish one, and most of them are closed until 2027 anyway.
Do I need ID?
Yes, bring it. Almost every club is 18+, some nights are 21+, and a directory notes that Vizzio checks for 18+ with ID.
