Terraza Chile: The Art Deco Bar on Seville's Paseo de las Delicias, Open All Year
· Updated:
Terraza Chile is a drinks bar with a terrace on Paseo de las Delicias in Seville, Spain, next to the old Chile pavilion and MarĂa Luisa Park; it is open all year and, as of October 2026, every day from 1pm.

A 1929 building with an art deco bar
Terraza Chile takes its name from its neighbour: it stands next to the old PabellĂłn de Chile, the Chilean pavilion of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, which today houses Seville's Escuela de Arte. According to its website, the bar itself occupies an emblematic building from that same 1929 Exposition, and its style is art deco. That is the first thing that sets it apart from the open-air kiosks around it: besides the terrace, there is an indoor bar in a historic building.
Open all year, even in winter
Its website says it in capitals: “ABIERTO DURANTE TODO EL AĂ‘O”, open all year round. The terrace stays in use in winter, set up for the cold, and there are several indoor and outdoor spaces. On 21 October 2026 its Instagram was announcing “Abrimos todos los dĂas a partir de las 13:00h”, open every day from 1pm. That makes it one of the places on Paseo de las Delicias you can count on between October and May, when the summer terraces of the gardens are closed.

What to drink and what a visit is like
It is a bar de copas, a place for drinks rather than a club. The menu covers cocktails, mixed drinks and beer, with a premium list that the website says runs to more than 100 brands of rum. Because it opens at 1pm, it works for very different plans: a beer after a walk through MarĂa Luisa Park, an afternoon that turns into tardeo, or the first drinks of a night that ends somewhere else. It does not publish a closing time, music style, prices or age limit, so we do not give them; bring ID if you go at night.
That year-round opening matters more than it seems. In 2026 the seasonal terraces of the area closed one after another: Bilindo on 24 September, LĂbano on 26 September and La Casa del Estanque on 28 September. From then until next May, Terraza Chile is one of the bars with a terrace that keeps the Delicias stretch alive.
Birthdays and private events
With several separate spaces, Terraza Chile also hosts private celebrations: its website mentions birthdays, company get-togethers and private parties. If you are organising one, tell us how many you are and the date, and we will tell you what is possible.
Getting there and nearby
Terraza Chile is on Paseo de las Delicias by MarĂa Luisa Park, close to Plaza de España according to the bar. In winter its neighbour Alfonso by Casino, at Paseo de las Delicias 13, opens on Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm with live music and DJs, and on the riverbank Muelle New York opens every day from noon. In summer the gardens around fill with seasonal terraces such as LĂbano. To get home, Metro line 1 runs until 2am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before holidays, and the TUSSAM night buses A1 to A8 leave from Prado de San Sebastián.
