· Updated:
Sala X is a concert venue and dance club in Seville, Spain at Calle José Díaz 7. It opened in September 2014, hosts gigs most evenings and, on Fridays and Saturdays, opens as a club at 01:00 with a different party each night, from techno to pop nights or Brazilian rhythms.

Its Instagram bio is three words long: concert hall, dance club, promoter. Time Out described it back in 2019 as a venue with live music almost every day where 'after the concert the club keeps going' until 07:00, and that's still the formula. It's a mid-size room, around 400 people according to Bandsintown, which means gigs feel close and club nights fill up fast.

The gigs
The live programme is wide. In October 2026 alone it had the American band Crocodiles, the Chilean singer Francisca Valenzuela (Thursday 22 at 20:30), the Madrid band Toldos Verdes (Friday 23 from 21:00), Blanca Paloma on her 'Trenza mía' tour (Saturday 24) and Eli 'Paperboy' Reed, with Nadie Patín coming on 6 November. There are odd formats too, like a live trivia night on Thursday 8 October. Concert tickets are sold in advance and some sell out.
The club nights: a different party every weekend
On weekends Sala X opens as a club at 01:00 and hands the night to a resident party. Its October 2026 club calendar went like this: Stigmatribale on Friday 2, Club XXX on Saturday 3 (the after-party of NXT, with free invitations), Morreo Club on Friday 9, Memorash with La Pocilga on Saturday 10 (a 'put your phones away' night), Club Pegao with a Brazilian flavour on Friday 16, 33RPM with Sirius on Saturday 17, Shippeo Club with virtual.diva and guests on Friday 23 and Los Dominguito on Saturday 24. Xceed sums up the sound as electro, indie-rock and reggaeton; in practice it depends completely on the party.
Tips: when to arrive and what it costs
Club nights often have free or cheap early invitations that run out (Shippeo's free tickets were gone days before), and in October 2026 the sala offered two-for-one on selected drinks until 02:00. So the best plan is to arrive close to 01:00. If you came for a gig, check whether the club that night is included or needs a separate ticket. Sala X doesn't publish an age limit; in Andalusia clubs can't admit under-16s and can set 18, so bring ID.
Who it's for
Sala X is the opposite of a table-and-bottle club. It suits people who follow bands, who want an alternative night with a particular party, and groups of friends who prefer a dark room and a good sound system to a VIP area. If you want commercial reggaeton and a dress code, look at the big clubs; if you want a gig and then dancing until late, this is a safe bet.
Getting there and getting back
Sala X is at Calle José Díaz 7, postcode 41009; Sala La Calle, another live music venue, is on the same street at number 6, so on some nights there are two gigs a few doors apart. For a 01:00 club night, the usual plan is to come by bus or taxi and go home by night bus or taxi: on Friday and Saturday nights TUSSAM's night lines (A1 to A8) run from Prado de San Sebastián until 05:00, and the metro runs until 02:00. Map and directions are on the venue page.
