La Casa del Estanque: Dinner and a Drinks Terrace in Seville's Delicias Gardens

La Casa del Estanque is a summer restaurant in the Jardines de las Delicias in Seville, Spain, that turns into a drinks terrace with music from 11pm, Wednesday to Saturday, with free entry; it closed its 2026 season on 28 September and returns in summer 2027, with no date confirmed.

Status on 21 October 2026

On 28 September 2026 La Casa del Estanque posted “Se cierra una temporada más”, another season comes to an end. It had been its thirteenth: the website announced on 30 April 2026 that it was coming back for its “decimotercera temporada”, and it opened on Friday 22 May with free entry from 11pm. There is no date yet for 2027. In the meantime, Terraza Chile, also on Paseo de las Delicias, is the nearby drinks terrace that stays open all year.

A restaurant first, a party later

This is not a club in the strict sense, and that is its charm. The night has two parts. From 9pm it is a restaurant with Mediterranean cooking in the gardens, with a “Solete” from the Repsol Guide in 2025 according to its Instagram bio. From 11pm the drinks terrace takes over, which the website sells as “Copas y Diversión”: premium drinks, music and a place to make the night last. Time Out has described its dance floor as going on until late. If you like the idea of dinner and then staying for drinks without changing venue, this is the one.

The 2026 season at a glance

The days can change at the end of the season: in September 2025 it opened Thursday to Saturday, so if you are going at the start or end of next summer, check the night before you go. It does not publish a closing time, a music style, drink prices or an age limit, so we do not give them. For dinner you book a table; for the drinks terrace you just turn up.

La Casa del Estanque or Líbano?

They share the Delicias gardens, but La Casa del Estanque and Terraza Líbano are different plans. Líbano is a summer club with guest lists, advance tickets and reserved areas. La Casa del Estanque starts with dinner and carries on with drinks and music, with free entry to the terrace from 11pm. If you are going as a group and not everyone wants a club, the second one makes it easy.

The concession question

Like its neighbour Terraza Líbano, La Casa del Estanque operates on municipal land in the Delicias gardens. According to El Correo de Andalucía (30 June 2026), the city's planning department authorised both to carry on “en precario”, on a temporary basis, until a new tender for the concession is awarded. That does not mean it will not open in 2027, only that the date depends on more than the weather.

Getting there and nearby

The Jardines de las Delicias are by the Guadalquivir, on Paseo de las Delicias, a few minutes from the city centre according to the venue. In summer the stretch fills up: Terraza Líbano is in the same gardens, Terraza Bilindo inside María Luisa Park and Alfonso by Casino at Paseo de las Delicias 13. To get home, Metro line 1 runs until 2am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before holidays, and the TUSSAM night buses A1 to A8 leave from Prado de San Sebastián from midnight to 5am on those nights.
