Elysium (Alcalá de Guadaíra): Seville's Techno and Vinyl Club
· Updated:
Elysium is an electronic music club in Alcalá de Guadaíra, a town next to Seville, Spain, at Calle La Red Seis 39 in the La Red industrial estate. It plays techno, hard techno and drum and bass, runs all-vinyl nights until 07:00 and, some nights, SBK (salsa, bachata, kizomba) parties. It calls itself 'the sanctuary of electronic music in Seville'.
Elysium Alcalá de Guadaíra: venue page →The room and the sound
Elysium is a warehouse-style club built for electronic music. Its website lists one main room with an L-Acoustics sound system, a 5.4 by 3.5 metre stage screen and a 46-metre LED strip running around the room, plus a VIP area and a cloakroom. Being in an industrial estate outside the city lets it run long nights at full volume. It's the kind of club people travel to for a specific line-up, not one you stumble into.

The parties: Oscura, Vinyl Series, GTTN and SBK
Elysium works with brands that each have their own night. Oscura is its techno party: it closed the 2025-26 season on 30 May 2026 with i.am.shdw (last tickets at €10) and returns on 6 November 2026. Vinyl Series is the newest one, a night where DJs play only records: Vol. I on Friday 2 October 2026 was dedicated to Andalusian breakbeat, with veterans like Mike Dub Flama, Lady Pack, DJ Maribel and Rupe Totem, and Vol. II on Saturday 14 November runs from 23:00 to 07:00, 'eight hours, vinyl only'. GTTN Audio plays on 21 November, and the Elysium SBK Fest takes over on 31 October.
A club with a memory
Part of Elysium's identity looks back. Besides the vinyl nights, in spring 2026 it ran 'Back to the Past', a party built around the music of Sevilla Mía and Statioon, 'the music that marked a whole era'. If you went out in Seville in the nineties and early 2000s, this is where that sound still has a home. The younger crowd comes for Oscura and the harder styles.
Tickets, age and the Bono Cultural
Prices depend on the party (Oscura's last tickets were €10 in May 2026). One useful detail: since September 2026 Elysium accepts Spain's youth culture voucher, the Bono Cultural Joven, for its events. The club doesn't publish an age limit or dress code; in Andalusia clubs can't admit under-16s and each venue can set 18, so bring your ID.
How to get there from Seville
Elysium is in the La Red estate of Alcalá de Guadaíra, east of Seville. Its website points to bus line M-121 from the Los Arcos shopping centre; at night most people share a taxi or drive, so plan the way back before you go. Directions are on the venue page.
Who plays: local legends and new names
Vinyl Series doubles as a lesson in Andalusian club history. Rupe Totem has run the Seville record shop Totem Tanz since 1994 and was a pioneer of drum and bass; Mike Dub Flama, with more than 35 years behind the decks, was Spanish DMC DJ champion in 1992; DJ Maribel started in 1997 as one of the first women to take a vinyl booth in the region. Oscura, on the other hand, brings current techno names. Like many clubs, Elysium rests in summer: it closed the 2025-26 season at the end of May 2026 and came back on 2 October.
