Amazonas Seville: the Latin Club That Opens Thursday to Sunday

Amazonas is a Latin club in Seville, Spain at Calle Sociología 12. It opens Thursday to Sunday, mixes Latin music with 'every style' and, in October 2026, added an afro house and techno Friday. It calls itself the number one Latin club in Seville and sells VIP and premium tables.

What Amazonas is like

Amazonas is one of the busiest Latin clubs in Seville on Instagram, with more than 16,000 followers in October 2026, and it shows up in Google's local results for 'discotecas latinas Sevilla'. Its bio promises 'music of every style', which in practice means Latin and urban music sharing the night with other genres. It isn't a dance school or a social for dancers: it's a club, with DJs, a booth that changes style through the night and tables for groups.

The week: Thursday to Sunday

Amazonas opens four nights. Fridays and Saturdays carry the names of the house, 'Viernes Amazónicos' and 'Sábados Amazónicos', with resident DJ Anderson and guest DJs (in September 2026, DJ Alan). In mid-October 2026 the club tried something different: an afro house and techno Friday led by Glogroco, with several guest DJs. So if you come on a Friday, check which version is on, because it can be a Latin night or an electronic one.

Halloween with prizes

Amazonas calls Halloween 'its most awaited party of the year'. For Saturday 31 October 2026 it announced a night with DJ Alex and DJ Anderson and more than €500 in prizes for costumes, with a first prize of a €240 club voucher. Costume contests are a classic in Seville's Latin clubs, and here they're taken seriously.

VIP tables and groups

Its bio highlights 'VIP & PREMIUM' tables. Amazonas doesn't publish table prices, entry prices or an age limit. In Andalusia clubs can't admit under-16s and each venue can set 18, so bring ID. If you're coming in a group, tell us how many you are and what night, and we'll ask for a table for you.

Where it is

Amazonas is at Calle Sociología 12, postcode 41015, outside the old town, so most people get there by taxi or car. The map and directions are on the venue page, along with the other Latin clubs of the city.

DJs, Sundays and closing time

Amazonas changes its line-up every weekend and announces it on Instagram during the week. Between September and October 2026 the names included resident DJ Anderson and guests such as DJ Alan, Glogroco, DJ Elejota Santos, Gero Rizk, Javi López and David Dorante. Being open on Sunday too makes it an option for the last night of a long weekend, for example the Sunday before a Monday holiday.

The club doesn't publish its hours. As a reference, Andalusian law lets clubs stay open until 06:00, and until 07:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a public holiday (Decree 155/2018). If you need the exact time for a given night, or want to know which DJ is on, ask us on WhatsApp.

Seville's Latin nightlife has two kinds of venue. Dance halls like Sala Havana are for dancing salsa and bachata in couples, usually after a short class. Clubs like Amazonas or El Sabrosón are a Latin party with DJs, tables and groups of friends. If you want to learn to dance, start with a dance hall; if you want a Latin night out, a club like Amazonas is the plan.
